Association Member,
The Camp Read Association appreciates your interest in our Tribute and
Memorial Fund. All donations given to this fund will go towards the continued
improvement of the Curtis S. Read Scout Reservation. Since the inception
of our Association, the generous donations of our members have helped make Camp
Read one of the most outstanding camps in the Boy Scouts of America! Our
Association has purchased mattresses, cots, lumber for platforms, program
equipment, materials for signs, contributed to the completion of the Pearlman
Building and the Dan Rile Memorial Chapel. It was through the generosity of one
of our members that we renovated the Old Farm House which has now been renamed
the Boland Lodge. These improvements to Camp Read would not have been
possible without your financial support.
I would like to make an appeal to you to donate to
the Camp Read Improvement Fund through the Camp Read Tribute and Memorials.
Please take a moment, follow the link below for an easy print out of the form, print
the page, and fill out the form. The honor
can be in recognition of birthdays, anniversaries, awards, holidays, or in
memory of a departed friend or relative. An acknowledgement letter will be
sent to you and to the person or persons being recognized, or to their family,
if the donation is in memoriam. Your contribution will be acknowledged on
the Association Tribute and Memorial scroll printed in our Newsletter or at your
request, the donation can be given anonymously. This is a great way to
recognize or remember a deserving individual or individuals and at the same time
help Camp Read and generations of scouts to come.
