About Us

The Camp Read Association is open to all who have an interest in the Curtis S. Read Scout Reservation. Our primary mission is to support the Camp and the Greater Hudson Valley Council and to ensure that it continues to grow and prosper. Learn More

Events

We host several activities each year, providing vital support to the Camp, and organizing fun events for its members. 

 

Our largest event is the reunion, which is held every five years at the Camp.

Donate

Although there are no dues required to join, there are benefits to contributing and become a “Friend of Read” such as discounts at our events.

Your support is needed and greatly appreciated!

Publications

The Association publishes a bi-annual newsletter in the Spring and Fall. 

​

Also published by Association is the "Memorial Guidebook": a field guide to Memorials, Dedications and place of interest throughout the Reservation.
